Seven layers of glass go into this beautiful composition, which is first fired to fuse the layers into one solid block, then cut with a lapidary saw, ground on a diamond wheel, and fire-polished again in the kiln for glossy, rounded edges. The color of dichroic glass shifts with light and angle, so it’s a different pendant from every viewpoint!
This pendant is 1.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide, and it hangs on a solid sterling silver tube bail. All of my dichroic stack pendants are irreproducible and one of a kind.
